Procurement policy

As we can receive children when they are 10 weeks old, you can register your unborn child from the moment you are pregnant for 12 weeks.

When registering your unborn child, you must send us a pregnancy declaration stating the date of birth. If your child is born we would like to hear this by receiving a birth announcement card, so that we can draw up the placement agreement.

If you are on the waiting list and want to withdraw your application, we would like to hear this from you in writing.

If the placement is completed, you will be invited for the intake interview. In this conversation, the specific wishes of both the parent/ caregiver and the child are discussed.

You can also meet the permanent pedagogical staff of the group in which your child is placed.

For the well-being of babies, BORUS Kinderopvang has 3 moments on 3 different days in a period of 2 weeks in which babies can get used to the daycare center and the staff members. On the first two days, the child comes to the daycare center for a maximum of 2.5 hours and on the third day for a maximum of half a day. For very small children there is the option to stay for a longer period of time, because research has shown that it is not pleasant for babies if they have not had enough time to get used to the place and people. During this period, a good relationship is established.

This means that your child will feel safe in the new environment and will become familiar with the other children and the pedagogical staff. The period in which the children can get used to the daycare center and the staff members is in consultation with you and the pedagogical staff.

If there is already a brother or sister with us at the childcare center, then priority is given to placing his/ her brother or sister.

In addition to the arranged days, your child can come to the childcare center for an extra day for the fixed price, if there is still space.

If you want to change the agreement, we ask you to do this in writing. There is a one month’s notice. This can be done on the 1st or the 16th of the month.

If you want to change the number of days, there is a one month’s notice, from the 1st or the 16th of the month.

The parental contribution must be paid in advance per month. Payment is only possible by automatic payment. The payment is continued during the holidays or other days on which BORUS is closed.

Tax provisions apply to the costs of childcare. Inquire about this with your employer, tax advisor or the tax authorities (www.belastingdienst.nl).

There are a number of reasons for the day nursery to break the agreement:

  • When parent(s)/ caregiver(s) do not comply with the applicable rules;
  • If taking care of a child is irresponsible;
  • In case of default by parent(s)/ caregiver(s).

If, after a number of reminders, no parental contribution has been paid for a month, your child will be unregistered.

You will still have to pay for this period.
