For schools that are not within walking distance of a BORUS location, the children can be picked up from school by one of our BORUS-vans or by a taxi-van. Also the children between the ages of 4 and 9 years old who are (still) unable to come from school to BORUS independently, can be picked up from school with a BORUS-van. This always takes place in consultation with the parents/ caretakers. BORUS has determined that the age at which children can come to the after-school care independently is 9 years.
The costs of transport
The costs for picking your child up from school is € 2.50 per day. The costs of the transport are calculated on an analysis of 40 school weeks and is charged as a fixed monthly fee.
